Concord Retirement Board Approves Multi-Year Funding Schedule

Concord Retirement Board unanimously approves funding schedule for fiscal year 2028. Chairman Brian Whitney led the five-member board in selecting a contribution plan that pairs initial larger increases with modest annual contributions thereafter to achieve full funding by 2040. The board also unanimously approved a consent agenda covering retirement applications, member transfers, new enrollments, and warrant payments totaling $1.52 million.
Concord's investment portfolio increased 5.3 percent in the second quarter, reaching $272 million in assets under management with combined investment and administration costs of 0.64 percent.
