CONCORD — School committees approve $1.6M amenities building contract. The Concord and Concord-Carlisle School Committee voted unanimously to award a $1,639,000 construction contract to City Enterprise for the high school amenities building, with Assistant Superintendent Robert Conry noting that $175,000 in state funding will cover design and project management fees. The committee also unanimously authorized a ten-year lease with Highland Fleet Solutions for two electric buses at $28,600 annually with a 3 percent inflation escalator.
The committee approved the charge for a Climate and Culture Working Group, with school committee members committed to recommendations by September.
