Retirement Board approves governance letter, discusses new office space

Concord Retirement Board approves formal response to Paul Macone's governance transparency concerns. The Board voted unanimously to forward legal counsel's response letter, addressing Macone's questions regarding the executive director's contract, salary increases, stipend deductions, lodging reimbursements, and tax compliance. The Board confirmed the executive director's outside activities are permissible and agreed to seek tax professional advice on expense reimbursements.
The Board also unanimously approved the 2025 Annual Statement and authorized 1.3 million dollars in monthly warrants, including three superannuation retirements. In executive session, the Board discussed exploring new office space, citing inadequacy of the current facility at 2250 Main Street.
