Concord housing trust endorses updated five-year housing plan

Concord Municipal Affordable Housing Trust · Meeting of June 23, 2026

Concord housing trust endorses five-year strategy targeting 200 additional affordable units. Matt Johnson, Chair of the Concord Municipal Affordable Housing Trust, presented the updated plan to the Housing Roundtable, which also targets roughly 850 units for working-class residents at 200% AMI levels. The town currently maintains 409 affordable units with 114 under construction; members endorsed the strategy while noting a more rigorous Housing Production Plan must integrate town-wide transportation planning.

Two 40B projects under permit review are expected to increase the town's Subsidized Housing Inventory from just over 10 percent to roughly 16 percent upon completion.
