Trust authorizes $785,500 in CPA funding for housing projects

Concord affordable housing trust authorizes $785,500 grant and advances Main Street acquisition. Chair Matt Johnson led the Trust to unanimous approval of a $785,500 Community Preservation Act grant agreement authorized by Article 26 of the 2026 Annual Town Meeting. Trustees also unanimously authorized $25,550 for a Phase 2 environmental assessment of the 91B Main Street property, following MassDOT approval, and approved a $100,000 progress payment toward the Assabet River Homes project.
The Trust reported an uncommitted cash balance of approximately $2.98 million as of June 30, 2026.
