Personnel Board votes to elevate Assistant Town Clerk grade
Personnel Board · Meeting of May 13, 2026
Concord Personnel Board votes to elevate Assistant Town Clerk to Grade 9. The board voted 4-0-1 to approve reclassifying the position from Grade 8, recognizing expanded election supervision duties and election planning work. Chair Bill Mrachek, Josh Fay, Kate Ryan, and Tim Mulvey supported the change, with one member abstaining.
The Town Clerk's office will maintain its current staffing level of four full-time equivalents despite the reorganization, and the board deferred action on the FY2027 Salary Increase Plan after board members raised questions about incentive-pay language for departing employees.
