Personnel Board approves Utility Billing Coordinator position, updates job descriptions.

CONCORD — The Concord Personnel Board unanimously approved a new Utility Billing Coordinator position at the Concord Municipal Light Plant on February 11. Jennifer Clougherty, Customer Service Manager at CMLP, told the board that the Grade LP-6 position is essential to manage complex water billing with tiered rates for commercial and residential customers. The role, 100 percent funded through enterprise funds, will assume duties from the Customer Service Supervisor while keeping departmental headcount steady.
The board also reviewed updated job descriptions for the Senior Meter Technician and reclassified the Council on Aging Wellness Nurse from a Registered Nurse to a Licensed Practical Nurse position. Personnel Board Chair Bill Mrachek plans to meet with Select Board Chair Mark Howell to discuss employee satisfaction tracking before the next board vote.
