CONCORD — Personnel Board approves Public Works administrative manager, compensation adjustments across town. The board voted unanimously to create a new Grade 8 Administrative Services Manager position in the Department of Public Works, to be filled directly under Director Alan Cathcart, citing expanded solid waste operations and newly assumed water and sewer customer management. Miscellaneous Compensation Schedules #7-1 and #7-2 were approved unanimously, reflecting wage floors of $16 per hour for visitor center associates and $35 to $75 per hour for temporary-status utility consultants, plus adjustments to recreation, library, and child care staffing bands.
Director Emily Smith presented updates to the Assistant Director of Library Services position, now designated the master scheduler for 31.38 FTE and approximately 200 volunteers across 63 weekly operating hours.
