Concord housing trust approves local initiative program support for NOVO project. The Concord Municipal Affordable Housing Trust unanimously approved Chair Keith Bergman's motion to support NOVO Riverside Commons' application to the state's Local Initiative Program, advancing a 201-unit rental development with 51 affordable units into construction. The Trust also voted unanimously to back the April 27, 2026 Annual Town Meeting Article 26, which requests $39,000 for the Regional Housing Services Office and $785,500 for CMAHT's Housing Production Plan implementation.
The Housing Authority reported receipt of $450,000 in state grant funds for a retrofit fire sprinkler project at Everett Gardens, leveraging CMAHT's earlier $300,000 commitment to preserve 52 units of housing for low-income elderly and disabled residents. The Trust's uncommitted fund balance stands at $1,508,093 as of March 3, 2026.
