Concord Housing Roundtable convenes to coordinate affordable housing implementation across seven municipal boards. The Concord Municipal Affordable Housing Trust, led by Keith Bergman, has committed $4.5 million to support 121 affordable units while maintaining an uncommitted balance of $1.5 million. The Concord Housing Authority secured $450,000 in state HILAP program funding for a sprinkler retrofit at Everett Gardens serving 52 units, with potential for up to $1.05 million pending cost development.
The Select Board outlined plans for MCI Concord redevelopment, with a master plan to begin in April and draft zoning expected by fall. Six zoning articles advance to the town warrant to enhance housing development flexibility and meet state requirements.
