Concord affordable housing trust backs $350,000 working capital loan for CHDC buy-down program. The Trust unanimously approved the three-year, zero-interest loan to convert existing market-rate homes to deed-restricted affordable units added to the town's Subsidized Housing Inventory. Separately, the Trust unanimously approved a $629,000 budget to acquire the 1.45-acre surplus state property at 91B Main Street, funded by $500,000 in ARPA resources (which must be spent by December 31, 2026) and $129,000 from non-ARPA trust funds, pending Select Board approval and completion of an environmental assessment.
The FY 2027 CPA allocation for the Trust of $785,500 will appear in Article 26 at the April 27 Annual Town Meeting.
