The committee approved a revised charge elevating it to the primary body recommending and tracking transportation initiatives aligned with the town's emerging Comprehensive Transportation Strategy.
Interim Director of Public Works Aaron Miklosko reported the Elm Street striping plan is approximately 75 percent complete, incorporating bike lanes and narrowed travel lanes as part of a larger Concord Center-West corridor, with the committee agreeing to pursue earlier public review at conceptual design stages for major projects.
