Warner's Pond Committee gathers community stakeholders

Concord pond committee convenes stakeholder groups to align on management goals. The Warner's Pond Management Committee held a special meeting with representatives from Friends of Warner's Pond, the West Concord Advisory Committee, the Sudbury, Assabet & Concord Rivers Association, the Northeastern Correctional Center, and the Concord Scout House. Committee members Christine Denaro (Chair), Phil Brewer, and Carlene Hempel participated alongside Natural Resources Division staff Rose Kaforski.

Stakeholders discussed ecological health, recreational access, facility accessibility, and potential housing development. The committee and stakeholder groups agreed to reconvene in one year to assess progress toward shared goals.
