Master Plan design charrette scheduled for June

CONCORD — MCI Concord Master Plan enters design phase with June charrette. The committee met April 24 to hear presentations from consultants Stantec, Speck Dempsey, and Community Scale on the project timeline. The Design Charrette Week June 8-11 will develop a draft illustrative plan, with draft zoning finalized by November and Town Meeting consideration targeted for December.

Strategic priorities include transfer of the Wastewater Treatment Plant, Route 2 Rotary redevelopment, environmental remediation, integration of Junction Village affordable housing, and achievement of success metrics including revenue positive development, market viability, contemporary authentic architecture, and net-zero energy sustainability.
