Select Board endorses $100 million public safety, public works capital plan

CONCORD — Select Board endorses $100 million capital plan for public safety. The Concord Select Board unanimously adopted recommendations from the Land Use Working Group, with Co-Chair Sven Weber presenting the report (approved July 13, 2026), prioritizing West Concord fire station replacement, upgrades to Police Headquarters and the Concord Center fire station, and relocation of Public Works from Keyes Road to the MCI Concord site. The Board also approved a 3.75 percent merit pay increase of $9,353.28 for Town Manager Kerry LaFleur by a 4-0-1 vote, with Board member Dean Banfield abstaining.
Combined public safety and public works costs are expected to exceed $100 million.
