CONCORD — Personnel Board approves cost-of-living adjustment to compensation plan. The board unanimously backed a 1.2 percent COLA increase effective July 1, 2026, added to the plan's existing 2 percent annual increment, reflecting a combined 3.2 percent adjustment keyed to Boston-area inflation data. Chair Bill Mrachek and members Kate Ryan, Joshua Fay, Jessica Porter, and Erin McMorrow also approved two warrant articles for Annual Town Meeting: one ratifying 2025 classification actions and another presenting the COLA proposal.
Assistant Town Manager and Director of Human Resources Jessica Porter reported the employee handbook update remains on track for completion within one month, with Board review to follow within two weeks.
