Commission approves ADA transition plan RFP legal posting

Commission on Disability · Meeting of January 15, 2026

CONCORD — Commission on Disability approves ADA transition plan legal posting. The Commission unanimously authorized $233.24 in payment from handicap parking violation fees for a required legal notice in the Concord Bridge related to an accessibility transition plan request for proposals. The town received $125,000 through a state ADA Improvement Grant to fund the work, which aims to identify accessibility gaps within the town.

Three RFP responses were received and vetted; all met minimum qualifications. A review committee will evaluate proposals using a standardized scorecard, with contract finalization expected following consensus review and work completion required by July 31, 2026.
