CONCORD — MCI Concord Master Plan Committee plans public engagement around housing and zoning. The committee discussed the state's 800- to 1,000-unit housing goals for the MCI Concord site and emphasized need for variety serving seniors, youth, families, veterans, and workers. Peter Lowitt noted most residents prefer the lower end of the range.

Committee scheduled October 6 zoning information session with follow-up joint meeting including Planning Board and Select Board in late October or November. Alyssa Sandoval reported the proposed zoning will employ a hybrid approach blending traditional zoning with form-based code.
