Concord Master Plan Committee advances zoning, sustainability standards for MCI site
MCI Concord Master Plan Committee · Meeting of September 3, 2026
CONCORD — The MCI Concord Master Plan Committee advanced zoning for the mixed-use development site. Co-Chair Wendy Rovelli directed consultants to develop a standalone zoning district, with a November 10 joint board review of draft zoning scheduled with the Select Board and Planning Board. DCAMM has scheduled December 2027 for RFP issuance and 2028-2030 for developer selection, with zoning to go to Annual Town Meeting in May 2027.
The committee also directed incorporation of approximately seven acres for Department of Public Works relocation and discussed sustainability standards including mandatory solar, EV charging readiness, and low-impact stormwater management.
