Historic Districts Commission approves five applications and advances two to next meeting.

Historic Districts Commission · Meeting of January 14, 2026

CONCORD — Historic Districts Commission approves five applications in a single evening vote. Vice Chair Tim Whitney and voting members Katharine Mast, William Huyett, Walter Clay, and Associate Member Louis Caldarella unanimously approved roof replacement at the Colonial Inn, a Certificate of Hardship for emergency window work at 77 Walden Street addressing lead contamination, lamppost and entry light replacement at 29 Munroe Place, a gutter and downspout installation at 46 Wood Street, and HVAC upgrades at the Concord Museum with a heat pump condenser subject to a six-month review. Two applications — the Concord Art Association's proposed siding material change and the Concord Free Public Library's 40 new storm windows — were tabled for the next meeting due to insufficient voting members or applicant absence.
