CONCORD — Economic Vitality Committee votes to support demolition at Commonwealth Avenue. Chair Michael Lawson was authorized to send a letter to the Historical Commission recommending removal of the former auto repair facility, clearing the way for Jennifer Schunemann's proposed Guitar Museum of New England. The Committee voted 10-0, with one abstention from Stewart Ikeda.
The panel also delayed an Arts and Cultural/Business Forum from late January to after Town Meeting, tasking the subcommittee to return with refined dates, program structure, venue confirmation at Barefoot Books, and participation goals at the February 11 meeting.
