CONCORD — The Concord Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Commission voted unanimously to condemn the white nationalist group Patriot Front after posters appeared around town in September. Member AJ Trunetor filed a public records request to obtain the police report, which arrived about a week later; the commission voted 5-0 to adopt Trunetor's draft statement. Liaison Michael told the commission a meeting of the new interagency group Concord United found "that informal network failed" regarding alerting town boards to the incident.
Chair Andrea Fonserrada previewed preliminary results from the commission's 2026 community survey, showing positive views of Concord as welcoming rose from 46 percent to 52 percent while reported discrimination dropped by half, and said this year's open comments brought "a lot of hate, compared to last time." Affordable housing displaced hiring a diversity officer as residents' top-ranked initiative. Housing Authority member Ed Larner separately described a $770,000 accessible trail project seeking about $670,000 from the Community Preservation Committee.
