CONCORD — A Concord town committee approved its treasurer's report showing nine assistance checks issued this fall, including a $2,000 rent payment. Treasurer Catherine reported the committee will add $10,000 to its "silent fund" next month, which will fund a holiday gift program for seniors and families with children under 18, with recipient names supplied by Bonnie. No property tax relief went out this month since bills had just been issued, due November 1, with relief distributed quarterly.

Committee member Shannon flagged a shared-inbox concern, saying "we need to be clear on who's accessing it, because once somebody accesses it, it's been read." The committee then voted unanimously to move into executive session to discuss individual assistance applicants, citing privacy protections.
