Concord Commission on Disability accepts ADA transition plan

CONCORD — Commission on Disability accepts ADA self-evaluation plan. The Concord Commission on Disability unanimously accepted the final ADA Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan on July 9, a document Chair Jennifer Brooke said will guide the town's budgetary and accessibility decisions. The plan will be presented to the Select Board on July 20.
Town Moderator Karlen Reed asked the Commission to provide guidelines by October 1 on who qualifies for ADA accommodations to enable remote participation at Town Meeting, noting that state law does not currently permit full remote participation.
