Concord Commission on Disability elects Brooke chair, receives ADA audit
Commission on Disability · Meeting of June 9, 2026
Concord Commission on Disability elects Brooke chair, positions for state grant bid. The panel welcomed new members Abigail Dressler, a retired school principal and special education administrator, and Rose O'Neal, a wheelchair-using resident, as KMA Consultant Emanuel presented ADA Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan findings. Final deliverables due June 26 position Concord to apply for up to $250,000 in Massachusetts Office on Disability grants opening May; the town's first application in 10 years.
The audit confirmed Concord possesses five core ADA administrative requirements and identified minor barriers mostly fixable in-house by public works.
