Town Flags Week Of Road Work Near MBTA Lot, Downtown Streets
Concord residents should brace for a busy week of paving and curb work across town, with the Town's Department of Public Works flagging disruptions near the MBTA lot and Main Library, while Patch reports on a Concord Middle School administrator's departure and a Ukraine aid effort by a local resident.

The town's News Flash feed announced road work scheduled for the MBTA parking lot on July 14, involving paving and curb-related repairs. That follows a broader road work overview for the week beginning Monday, July 13, which lists work planned for Stow Street, Everett Street, College Road, Annursnac Hill, Philip Farm, Liberty Street, Devens Street, Thoreau Court, Sudbury Road, Maple Street, Lexington Road, Bedford Road, Old Bedford Road, and the MBTA lot itself.
The Concord Free Public Library also flagged the disruption directly, warning that road work on Sudbury Road and Stow Street "may cause intermittent disruptions in parking availability" at the Main Library through July 10.

The Munroe Gallery at the Main Library opens "Summer Memories," a solo exhibition by Massachusetts artist Lucinda Hamilton, running July 6 through July 30. An opening reception is set for Saturday, July 11, from 2 to 4 p.m.
The library is also hosting "A Celebration of the Declaration: An Exhibition of Rare 1776 Documents" through July 26, showcasing rare historical materials tied to the nation's founding.
Separately, the library's Writer-in-Residence Program is accepting applications for the 2027 residency period, covering January through June 2027, with a submission deadline of July 15.
