CONCORD — Commission on Disability initiates five-month ADA self-evaluation and transition plan. The February 12 meeting, chaired by Jean Goldsberry with eight members present, reviewed the scope of work to be conducted by consulting firm KMA LLC, due June 30, 2026. The plan includes surveys of eight municipal buildings and five outdoor facilities, staff training, policy review, and a transition plan to identify and remove barriers to accessibility.
The Commission agreed to omit the Town House from the assessment; a request was also made to add Gerow Park. Commission member Andrew Kirkpatrick will coordinate the digital accessibility evaluation. Public survey distribution is targeted for mid-March.
