Commission updates ADA evaluation progress, extends survey deadline

CONCORD — Commission on Disability reports progress on town's ADA evaluation, extends survey deadline. Chair Jean Goldsberry and the commission received an update from Emmanuel Andrade of KMA on the town's ADA Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan, which is on track to meet the Massachusetts Office on Disability grant deadline of June 24. Surveys have been completed from 12 town departments and 115 residents; eight of nine building audits are finished and a digital accessibility evaluation is complete.

The commission extended its public survey deadline to April 17 and requested that the new Thoreau Town playground be included in ongoing outdoor facility surveys.
