CONCORD — West Concord Advisory Committee heard redevelopment plans for 166 Commonwealth Avenue. Owner-developer Tariq Fayyad's team presented a 2,100-square-foot Imperial Gas and Country Store featuring mid-century design, expanded green space along Nashoba Brook, EV charging, and employee-pumped gas service. Committee members and residents offered questions about crosswalk connections, stormwater management, and site lighting; developers indicated willingness to add murals, landscaping, and lighting fixtures.
Committee members noted that Engineering and the Department of Natural Resources must review the plan before approval, and all signage must comply with Concord's sign bylaw.
