Concord's Select Board voted to set a February 2, 2027 special election to fill the seat left vacant by Mary Hartman's resignation. Chair Wendy Rovelli led the four-member board, which also includes Paul Boehm, after an initial motion for a February 9 date failed for lack of a second. The board separately voted unanimously to place Clause 41C½, a new senior property tax exemption, on the April 6, 2027 town ballot; staff estimated it would raise the tax rate from $12.21 to $12.27 per $1,000 of assessed value and could benefit roughly 574 or more seniors.

Member Cameron dissented, 3-1, on a Housing Production Plan Steering Committee charge naming the Concord Housing Foundation, calling it poor "governance." Boehm also said auditors found the Concord Light Board had miscalculated distribution rates for about five years, a discrepancy described alternately as an "accounting change" and an "error."
