Select Board · Meeting of September 14, 2026

Concord Select Board unanimously approved a Black Heritage Historical Trail Marker near Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, with a public celebration for 10 markers planned October 22 at Freedom Park. Economic Vitality Manager Mimi Graney noted the marker will be placed outside the cemetery gate. The board unanimously appointed Tracie Dunn to the West Concord Cultural District Committee and nominated Sue Felshin, John Cratsley, Carmin Reiss, Mark Martines, and Janie Nitze to codify town bylaws.

In discussion, the board heard a Multi-Site Residential Feasibility Analysis projecting $10 million in value and 66 housing units but deferred the Hate and Bias Incident Reporting proposal pending Town Counsel legal review and clarification on name redaction and free speech safeguards.
