Concord Public Safety Log: April 8–13, 2026

The following is a compilation of incidents and arrests recorded in the Concord Police Department's official public log for the period April 8–13, 2026. All persons listed are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Domestic violence incidents, sexual assaults, and juvenile matters are excluded per Massachusetts law (G.L. c. 41, section 98F).
Wednesday, April 8, 12:09 a.m. & 1:49 a.m., Burglar Alarm (Independence Road): Officers responding to a burglar alarm on Independence Road found two open doors on the first call; the homeowner, who was traveling, was unable to explain the unsecured doors. Officers cleared the building as secure. A second alarm activation from the same address was received approximately 100 minutes later; officers again responded and secured the door, confirmed as weather-related.
Wednesday, April 8, 12:29 p.m., Motor Vehicle Crash: A two-vehicle crash with one party reporting back pain was reported on Commonwealth Avenue near the rotary; the crash scene was transferred to Massachusetts State Police for handling.
Wednesday, April 8, 12:49 p.m., Scam Call Report: A resident walked into the station to report a suspicious phone call; the call was confirmed to be a scam attempt only, with no financial loss reported.
Wednesday, April 8, 6:18 p.m., Suspicious Activity: Officers responded to a report of a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed with failure to stop near Old Marlboro Road; the vehicle could not be located.
Wednesday, April 8, 7:51 p.m., Alcohol-Related Offense, Arrest: A Cadillac SUV was reported parked in the middle of Commonwealth Avenue with no hazard lights; officers responded and conducted field sobriety testing. The arrested individual was transported to Concord Police Department; bail was set by a bail commissioner on personal recognizance. Wednesday, April 8, 11:24 p.m., Noise Disturbance: A resident on Everett Gardens reported a neighbor's music and television playing loudly, described as a repetitive issue; officers responded but received no answer at the neighbor's door.
Thursday, April 9, 3:49 a.m., NEMLEC SWAT Mutual Aid: Concord officers were called out to assist with a NEMLEC (Northeast Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council) SWAT activation in the City of Lowell.
Thursday, April 9, 4:15 a.m., NEMLEC IMT Mutual Aid: A NEMLEC Incident Management Team activation was initiated in connection with the Town of Chelmsford.
Thursday, April 9, 1:49 p.m., Motor Vehicle Crash (Walden Street): A two-vehicle crash with no airbag deployment was reported at the Thoreau Street entrance to the high school; one party reported dizziness and fire and EMS units responded.
Thursday, April 9, 8:19 p.m., Hit-and-Run, Parking Lot Damage (Monument Square): A motorist discovered damage to his vehicle after it had been parked in Monument Square during the day; the responsible vehicle was not identified at the time of the report.
Thursday, April 9, 9:33 p.m., Roadway Hazard (Route 2 at Main Street): A metal box found in the right travel lane near the Concord Turnpike and Main Street intersection was moved off the roadway; MassDOT was advised.
Friday, April 10, 2:23 a.m., Disturbance at Hospital: Multiple units responded to Emerson Hospital's emergency room on Old Road to Nine Acre Corner after a patient became combative with staff; the patient was sedated and the situation was resolved.
Friday, April 10, 6:31 a.m., Assault on Hospital Staff, Summons Issued: Emerson Hospital's emergency room requested that officers file assault charges stemming from the overnight incident in which a patient bit one nurse, pulled another's hair, and struck a third. A summons was issued to the patient for simple assault and battery. The log does not include the summonsed individual's name, age, or town of residence, see Review section.
Friday, April 10, 2:45 p.m., Three-Vehicle Crash (Route 2 at Main Street): A three-vehicle crash on Concord Turnpike near Main Street was reported with unknown injuries; multiple fire and EMS units responded. Massachusetts State Police took over on scene; the collision was determined to be minor with no injuries and patient refusals were documented.
Friday, April 10, 4:25 p.m., Credit Card Fraud (Estabrook Road): A resident reported fraudulent activity on a credit card; the card had already been shut off and the bank had opened an investigation.
Friday, April 10, 5:53 p.m., Assault on Hospital Staff (Emerson Hospital): Officers responded to Emerson Hospital's Hall 10 area after staff reported a patient had assaulted them; units cleared after the patient was calm.
Friday, April 10, 5:57 p.m., Suspicious Activity (Orchard House Parking Lot): A passerby reported a male urinating in a container in the parking lot of the Orchard House on Lexington Road; the vehicle was gone on officers' arrival.
Saturday, April 11, 12:11 a.m., Arrest on Probation Warrant (Baker Avenue): Officers attempted to serve a probation warrant on Baker Avenue and made one arrest. The log does not include the arrested individual's name, age, or town of residence, see Review section.
Saturday, April 11, 6:21–6:34 a.m., Possible Hit-and-Run Investigation (Stow Street at Everett Street): Officers discovered an unoccupied vehicle on Stow Street with apparent damage consistent with a collision; Massachusetts State Police checked Route 2 for additional damage. No Concord town property damage was confirmed. The vehicle owner's brother was notified through Fitchburg Police.
Saturday, April 11, 9:22 a.m., Vandalism (Thoreau Street): An employee reported his vehicle had been keyed overnight on Thoreau Street.
Saturday, April 11, 12:30 p.m., Hit-and-Run, Motor Vehicle vs. Bicycle (Main Street at Thoreau Street): A bicyclist was struck by a white truck at the intersection of Main Street and Thoreau Street; the truck fled the scene. Multiple fire and EMS units responded and the bicyclist was transported by ambulance to Emerson Hospital. A be-on-the-lookout was issued for the white truck; Massachusetts State Police reported having previously stopped a vehicle matching the description operated by a Rhode Island resident.
Saturday, April 11, 2:23 p.m., Fraud (Main Street at Cafe Nero): A fraud complaint was reported at a business on Main Street; the reporting party, a resident of Salem, N.H., was referred to the Salem, N.H. Police Department.
Saturday, April 11, 6:12 p.m., Motor Vehicle Stop, Summons Issued (Concord Turnpike): A motorist was stopped on Concord Turnpike east of Sudbury Road and found to be operating with a suspended license; a summons was issued for operation after suspension. Sunday, April 12, 1:18 p.m., Identity Theft/Fraud (Caterina Heights): A resident reported that a stolen social security number had been used to open a business and access a bank account; the bank flagged the unauthorized transactions before charges were completed.
