The following is a compilation of incidents and arrests recorded in the Concord Police Department's official public log for the period August 12–18, 2026. All persons listed are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Domestic violence incidents, sexual assaults, and juvenile matters are excluded per Massachusetts law (G.L. c. 41, section 98F).
Wednesday, Aug. 12, 8:31 a.m. — Larceny: A silver Schindelhauer bicycle was reported stolen on the 5700 block of Main Street within the previous 5–10 minutes; a GPS tracker on the bicycle pinged its location moving along Commonwealth Avenue toward the rotary, then onto Great Road in Acton. Acton Police were notified and assisted; the bicycle was recovered and returned to its owner.
Wednesday, Aug. 12, 9:03 a.m. — Parking Complaint: A resident on the 2800 block of Lowell Road reported construction vehicles repeatedly parking on the lawn; officers responded and the company was advised to move the vehicles.
Wednesday, Aug. 12, 11:54 a.m. — Missing Person (resolved): A welfare check was initiated at Walden Pond after a report of a person missing in the water for approximately 45 minutes to one hour; a second call reported the person had been found before officers arrived, and the individual was confirmed safe.
Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2:53 p.m. — Fraud: A walk-in report of business-related fraud was filed at the 100 block of Thoreau Street; a report was completed.
Wednesday, Aug. 12, 5:40 p.m. — Vandalism: A caller on the 400 block of Bedford Street reported a slashed tire on a motor vehicle, with the damage discovered the prior day and no suspect information available; a report was completed.
Wednesday, Aug. 12, 6:29 p.m. — Trespass Notice: A no-trespass notice was recorded for a location on Nathan Pratt Drive.
Wednesday, Aug. 12, 10:21 p.m. — Noise/Disturbance (resolved): A person was reported sitting in a motor vehicle playing loud music on the 3300 block of Minot Road; officers responded but the vehicle was gone on arrival.
Wednesday, Aug. 12, 10:21 p.m. — Mutual Aid: Concord officers assisted Lincoln Police with a motor vehicle crash involving a utility pole on Concord Road; officers were canceled by Lincoln and later returned briefly to assist with traffic control for a tow truck.
Thursday, Aug. 13, 12:17 a.m. — Disabled Motor Vehicle: Officers assisted a motorist with a flat tire at Bedford Street and Old Bedford Road; the operator continued on their way.
Thursday, Aug. 13, 4:17 a.m. — Welfare Check: A person was observed walking along Route 2 East near Walden Street; officers made contact and provided a transport.
Thursday, Aug. 13, 9:02 a.m. — Animal Control: A resident on the 4600 block of Spencer Brook Road reported an aggressive coyote in the neighborhood; the Animal Control Officer was notified to follow up.
Thursday, Aug. 13, 9:34 a.m. — Suspicious Activity: A walk-in reported a male making threats at the 1700 block of Everett Gardens; officers investigated and completed a report.
Thursday, Aug. 13, 11:13 a.m. — Medical Emergency: Officers and fire/EMS responded to the 5800 block of Main Street for a welfare check on a person reported to appear intoxicated; one person was transported by ambulance to Emerson Hospital.
Thursday, Aug. 13, 5:15 p.m. — Fraud/Larceny: A caller reported a woman attempted to cash a check using a fraudulent identification at a bank on the 7400 block of Main Street; she left without completing the transaction and was last seen heading toward Walden Street. Officers checked the area and nearby businesses and reviewed security footage, which showed the subject turning onto Walden Street; no further contact was made.
Thursday, Aug. 13, 6:04 p.m. — Larceny (Missing Items): A staff member at a facility on the Old Road to Nine Acre Corner reported a patient claiming missing items; officers responded and a report was filed.
Friday, Aug. 14, 12:58 a.m. — Suspicious Activity: A caller reported a person walking along the rail trail on Old Marlboro Road toward the 7-Eleven; officers located the individual near Baker Avenue at the railroad tracks, but the person declined to engage and fled; officers were unable to locate him.
Friday, Aug. 14, 3:02 a.m. — Welfare Check: A caller reported being at a Dunkin' Donuts but was unsure of the location; officers checked multiple locations in Concord with no contact; the individual was later determined to be in Pawtucket, R.I., and Pawtucket Police were notified.
Friday, Aug. 14, 3:50 a.m. — Welfare Check: A caller reported a person walking on railroad tracks from Baker Avenue Extension toward West Concord Depot; officers located the individual at Concord Fire Station 2 and the person was advised.
Friday, Aug. 14, 6:12 a.m. — Found Property: An officer flagged down by a jogger located a large sum of money on the side of Walden Street near Heywood Street.
Friday, Aug. 14, 8:00 a.m. — False Alarm: A commercial burglar alarm on the 5900 block of Main Street was determined to have been triggered by an employee.
Friday, Aug. 14, 8:15 a.m. — False Alarm: A commercial burglar alarm on the 5500 block of Main Street was confirmed accidental.
Friday, Aug. 14, 11:34 a.m. — Town Department Notification: A resident on the 1000 block of Conant Street reported a basement leak traced to a town-managed component; the Water Department was notified and responded.
Friday, Aug. 14, 3:12 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A minor two-car crash was reported at Main Street and Conant Street; officers responded but vehicles were gone on arrival.
Friday, Aug. 14, 5:12 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A vehicle was struck in a parking lot at the 6400 block of Old Road to Nine Acre Corner near Emerson Hospital; no injuries were reported and officers assisted with a paper exchange.
Friday, Aug. 14, 5:03 p.m. — Fraud: A walk-in reported that a credit inquiry was run in his name by an Acton auto dealership without his knowledge; officers investigated and determined the inquiry was the result of a miscommunication with the dealership, with no fraudulent activity and no financial loss.
Friday, Aug. 14, 7:05 p.m. — Trail/Brush Fire Check: Officers checked trails near the 11200 block of Monument Street due to brush fires in the area; the area was found to be in order.
Friday, Aug. 14, 9:21 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash (reported): A walk-in reported a large white pickup truck drove off the roadway and onto a lawn on the 2800 block of Lowell Road before leaving the area with no identifying information; officers found only minor displacement of rocks and no damage.
Saturday, Aug. 15, 12:37 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Stop/Citation: During a stop at Old Road to Nine Acre Corner and Williams Road, the operator of a 2016 black Jeep Cherokee was issued citations for operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving with a suspended registration, and a defective inspection sticker.
Saturday, Aug. 15, 10:04 a.m. — Found Dog: A dog found running into traffic on the 7300 block of Lowell Road was brought to the station and transferred to the Animal Control Officer.
Saturday, Aug. 15, 2:14 p.m. — Disabled Motor Vehicle: A disabled vehicle in the travel lane on Route 2 East near Sudbury Road was addressed with the assistance of a State Police trooper and a tow; the roadway was cleared.
Saturday, Aug. 15, 5:38 p.m. — Alarm Activation: A commercial burglar alarm on the 5800 block of Baker Avenue was checked; exterior checks were secure with the cause undetermined.
Saturday, Aug. 15, 8:28 p.m. — Lost Dogs: A resident on the 9400 block of Lewis Road reported two labs, one yellow and one black, with no collars or tags, had run off; the Animal Control Officer was notified.
Saturday, Aug. 15, 9:28 p.m. — Alarm Activation: A burglar alarm on the 500 block of Blueberry Lane was checked; exterior checks were clear with the cause undetermined.
Sunday, Aug. 16, 2:01 a.m. — Arrest: A motor vehicle stop on Route 2 West at Elm Street resulted in an OUI (Operating Under the Influence) arrest; two warrants were also located. Bail was set and the individual was later bailed by a family member. Sunday, Aug. 16, 7:26 a.m. — Animal Control: A rabbit reported stuck in a fence and appearing injured at the 3000 block of Main Street was referred to the Animal Control Officer.
Sunday, Aug. 16, 11:02 a.m. — Animal Control: A resident on the 9300 block of Spencer Brook Road reported a dog was attacked by a coyote the previous night; the Animal Control Officer was notified to follow up.
Sunday, Aug. 16, 12:02 p.m. — Noise Complaint: A resident reported loud music coming from the Caterina Heights area on Deacon Haynes Road; officers spoke with the homeowner, who agreed to lower the volume.
Sunday, Aug. 16, 1:31 p.m. — Suspicious Activity: A 911 caller on the 3500 block of Musketaquid Road reported a woman attempting to enter the rear door of a residence; the involved vehicle was stopped nearby on Monument Street at Lang Street; officers gathered information and a report was completed by a supervisor.
Sunday, Aug. 16, 2:02 p.m. — Arrest: A motor vehicle stop on Route 2 West at Old Road to Nine Acre Corner led to an arrest on an outstanding warrant; the operator was transported to the station and later released. Sunday, Aug. 16, 2:14 p.m. — Parking Complaint: Multiple illegally parked vehicles were reported on Hemlock Street; one parking citation was issued.
Sunday, Aug. 16, 3:58 p.m. — Suspicious Activity: State Police relayed a report of a man lying in the grass between Route 2 and Emerson Hospital on the 6400 block of Old Road to Nine Acre Corner; officers determined the individual was a discharged hospital patient awaiting a ride and returned him to the hospital's care.
Sunday, Aug. 16, 4:06 p.m. — Traffic Complaint: A 911 caller reported an erratic taxi driver on Lexington Road swerving, stopping in the roadway, and using incorrect turn signals; Lincoln Police were notified and checked the area.
Sunday, Aug. 16, 10:09 p.m. — Noise Complaint: A caller reported loud music on the 3500 block of Musterfield Road; officers spoke with the homeowner, who agreed to turn off the music.
Sunday, Aug. 16, 10:15 p.m. — Noise Complaint: A 911 caller on the 5600 block of Nashawtuc Road reported a female screaming; officers determined the noise was from children at a gathering and the resident agreed to quiet down.
Monday, Aug. 17, 4:32 a.m. — Alarm Activation/Attempted Break-in: A burglar alarm on the 5900 block of Sudbury Road brought multiple officers and the Criminal Investigation Division to the scene; officers found pry markings on a rear door with no entry gained. Management confirmed awareness of the markings; camera footage review showed no additional findings.
