The following is a compilation of incidents and arrests recorded in the Concord Police Department's official public log for the period September 2–7, 2026. All persons listed are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Domestic violence incidents, sexual assaults, and juvenile matters are excluded per Massachusetts law (G.L. c. 41, section 98F).
Wednesday, September 2, 12:01 a.m. — Traffic Enforcement: Officers issued two violations at Concord Turnpike and Fairhaven Road.
Wednesday, September 2, 1:56 a.m. — Trespass Notice: A trespass notice was served at Monument Square.
Wednesday, September 2, 1:10 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: Two school buses were involved in a minor collision on the Old Marlboro Road block; no injuries were reported, and a written warning was issued to the operator of the second vehicle.
Wednesday, September 2, 3:55 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A minor two-vehicle crash was reported on the Forest Ridge Road block; an officer filed a report.
Wednesday, September 2, 4:19 p.m. — Welfare Check: A caller reported seeing a man sitting on a bench behind Ripley School who subsequently could not be located; officers found the individual on Birch Drive and confirmed he was unharmed.
Wednesday, September 2, 4:57 p.m. — Suspicious Activity: Multiple callers reported what appeared to be a child's foot protruding from the trunk of a black Honda in the area of Walden and Thoreau Streets; officers investigated and confirmed the object was a rubber Halloween decoration.
Wednesday, September 2, 5:03 p.m. — Harassment Complaint: A caller reported that the operator of a vehicle had been waving hands erratically in traffic on two separate occasions and believed the operator had been waiting for him; an officer filed a report.
Wednesday, September 2, 6:22 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Stop: A summons was issued to the registered operator of a vehicle stopped on the Lowell Road block near the boat launch for no insurance and operation after suspended registration.
Wednesday, September 2, 11:09 p.m. — Traffic Complaint: A caller reported a white sedan driving erratically and having difficulty maintaining a lane after turning onto Virginia Road from Old Bedford Road; Lincoln Police Department was notified, and officers checked the area but could not locate the vehicle.
Thursday, September 3, 11:26 a.m. — Incident, Medical Response: Officers and fire personnel responded to the Musketaquid Road block after a caller reported a female trespassing on their property; a medical evaluation was conducted and one person was transported to Emerson Hospital.
Thursday, September 3, 4:04 p.m. — Vandalism: The Water and Sewer Department reported vandalism to a panel and generator on Park Lane; an officer filed a report.
Thursday, September 3, 5:00 p.m. — Arrest: Officers made a motor vehicle stop in the vicinity of Old Road to Nine Acre Corner; a warrant was located and one person was arrested. (See REVIEW: no name, age, or town of residence available in the log for this arrest.)
Thursday, September 3, 7:05 p.m. — Welfare Check / Summons: Officers and fire personnel responded to the Balls Hill Road block after a caller reported a male party in a vehicle acting strangely with the windows heavily fogged; officers reported the individual appeared to be inhaling nitrous oxide and refused to open the door; the person refused medical services, was released to a friend, and a summons is to follow.
Thursday, September 3, 8:01 p.m. — Incident: A caller at a Baker Avenue hotel reported a dispute with hotel management; the individual was verbally trespassed from the property.
Friday, September 4, 4:52 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A two-vehicle crash with airbag deployment occurred on Route 2 eastbound near the Concord Rotary; one person with a confirmed injury was transported by advanced life support ambulance to Lahey Hospital, and two others declined medical transport.
Friday, September 4, 7:46 a.m. — Roadway Hazard: A tree branch was reported down in the roadway on Elm Street at Commerford Road.
Friday, September 4, 1:45 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash / Hit and Run: A vehicle struck seven connected mailboxes on the Old Mill Road block and left the scene; officers identified the vehicle, made contact with the operator, and filed a report.
Friday, September 4, 4:38 p.m. — Traffic Complaint: Multiple callers reported a vehicle traveling eastbound in the westbound lane on Route 2 near Old Road to Nine Acre Corner; officers searched the route from Walden Street to the rotary but could not locate the vehicle.
Friday, September 4, 9:19 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Stop: An officer issued a citation for an unregistered vehicle, along with written warnings for no inspection sticker, speeding, and no license in possession, following a stop on Route 2 near Old Road to Nine Acre Corner.
Saturday, September 5, 12:31 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Stop: A criminal complaint application was filed against the operator of a vehicle stopped on Route 2 near Elm Street for unlicensed operation and a lights violation; the operator was picked up by a family member.
Saturday, September 5, 2:14 p.m. — Traffic Complaint: Multiple callers reported a black Ford Escape traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of Route 2; officers and Massachusetts State Police checked the length of Route 2 from Walden Street to the rotary but could not locate the vehicle.
Saturday, September 5, 3:23 p.m. — Welfare Check: Officers responded after Emerson Hospital reported a female patient had left the facility in a vehicle on Old Road to Nine Acre Corner; Acton police located the individual at her residence, where fire personnel responded and were declined.
Saturday, September 5, 3:47 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash / Animal: A vehicle struck and killed a dog on the Main Street block; the operator fled the scene. A summons for hit and run was issued to the involved vehicle's operator.
Sunday, September 6, 2:56 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A single-vehicle crash occurred on Route 2 near the Concord Rotary when a vehicle struck a tree; one person was transported by advanced life support ambulance to Lahey Hospital.
Sunday, September 6, 11:51 p.m. — Suspicious Activity: A caller on Annursnac Hill Road reported seeing a person with a flashlight entering the conservation area during overnight hours on multiple recent nights; officers checked the area and found nothing of concern.
Monday, September 7, 12:50 a.m. — Arrest: Officers conducted a motor vehicle stop on Route 2 westbound near Old Road to Nine Acre Corner; the operator was administered field sobriety tests and one person was arrested on an Operating Under the Influence of Liquor charge. Monday, September 7, 2:56 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Stop / Intelligence: During a stop on Route 2 westbound near Old Road to Nine Acre Corner, Beverly Police Department advised that the vehicle had been linked to the theft of cooking oil from a business in Beverly and that the vehicle and its occupants were known to travel the area stealing cooking oil from other businesses; Massachusetts State Police responded to the scene and officers issued a written warning to the operator for an equipment violation.
Monday, September 7, 7:09 a.m. — Welfare Check: A caller reported a small tent set up near the flagpole at Emerson Field on Stow Street; officers made contact with the individual and cleared the scene.
Monday, September 7, 10:25 a.m. — Roadway Obstruction: An abandoned vehicle on Route 2 westbound past Walden Street, present for two days, was creating a roadway obstruction; Massachusetts State Police were notified and responded to the scene.
Monday, September 7, 10:44 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash (Past): A resident reported a past crash on Elm Street in which a tree branch came through the vehicle's windshield; an officer filed a report.
