The following is a compilation of incidents and arrests recorded in the Concord Police Department's official public log for the period August 19–25, 2026. All persons listed are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Domestic violence incidents, sexual assaults, and juvenile matters are excluded per Massachusetts law (G.L. c. 41, section 98F).
Wednesday, August 19, 12:58 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Stop: Citation issued to the registered owner at Concord Turnpike and Old Road to Nine Acre Corner for inspection violation; written warning also issued for unregistered motor vehicle and speed.
Wednesday, August 19, 1:06 p.m. — Assault (Past Incident): A walk-in complainant reported a past assault on the 5800 block of Main Street; report taken by Sgt. Fitzgerald.
Wednesday, August 19, 1:26 p.m. — Suspicious Activity: A resident on the 9300 block of Cottage Street reported her son found what he believed was a firearm in the river; officers responded and the Criminal Investigations Division took possession of what proved to be a cap gun.
Wednesday, August 19, 1:46 p.m. — Civil Matter: A resident on the 800 block of Central Street reported a civil dispute over tree removal; officers responded and the situation was calm.
Wednesday, August 19, 2:45 p.m. — Burglar Alarm: An alarm activation on the 3200 block of Middle Street was confirmed accidental, caused by a cleaner on scene.
Wednesday, August 19, 3:01 p.m. — Larceny/Fraud: A walk-in complainant on the 700 block of Caterina Heights reported airline points had been stolen; report filed.
Wednesday, August 19, 6:39 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A three-vehicle crash on the 5500 block of Concord Turnpike resulted in one vehicle with airbag deployment being towed; two patients refused treatment from responding fire and ambulance units; a written warning was issued to the operator of a Subaru Outback for failure to use care.
Thursday, August 20, 8:29 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A single-vehicle crash at Walden Street and Thoreau Street, in which a car struck a utility pole, required the driver to self-extricate; Walden Street was closed between Thoreau Street and Laurel Street while the utility company responded; one patient refused treatment.
Thursday, August 20, 9:39 p.m. — Larceny/Fraud (Identity Theft): A resident on the 5500 block of Seven Star Lane reported receiving an identity theft notification from Wells Fargo and requested a police report; report filed.
Thursday, August 20, 9:03 p.m. — Larceny/Fraud (Scam): A resident on the 4400 block of Riverside Avenue reported receiving a text about a fraudulent Apple Pay charge; the resident called the number provided and made a payment to the caller; report filed.
Friday, August 21, 8:37 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A crash with airbag deployment was reported in front of the Concord Public Library on the 5500 block of Main Street; a summons was issued.
Friday, August 21, 10:01 a.m. — Suspicious Activity: A resident on the 9400 block of Park Lane reported a male representing himself as a National Grid worker, wearing a reflective vest and operating an unmarked sedan, who sought entry for a repair the homeowner had not requested; National Grid confirmed no work order was on file; officers responded and noted several homes under construction in the neighborhood.
Friday, August 21, 10:45 a.m. — Suspicious Activity: An employee at Crosby's Market on the 5500 block of Sudbury Road reported suspicious activity; report filed by Inspector Holsinger.
Friday, August 21, 2:28 p.m. — Suspicious Activity: A resident on the 9200 block of Annursnac Hill Road reported a white sedan with Virginia plates circling the neighborhood multiple times, with a male occupant photographing homes; officers checked the area.
Friday, August 21, 11:23 p.m. — Larceny/Fraud (Scam): A resident on the 4400 block of Riverside Avenue reported receiving a fraudulent text about an Apple Pay charge and making a payment to the caller; report filed by Officer O'Connor.

Friday, August 21, 11:30 p.m. — Suspicious Activity: A 911 caller on the 800 block of Central Street reported hearing a female yelling and appearing distressed while walking west on Central Street; officers checked the area but could not locate her.
Saturday, August 22, 6:59 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Stop: Citation issued on the 5900 block of Cambridge Turnpike for speed.
Saturday, August 22, 8:58 a.m. — Lost Property: A passport and keys were found on the 5500 block of Sudbury Road; report filed.
Saturday, August 22, 10:34 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Stop: Citation issued at Main Street and Walden Street for a crosswalk violation.
Saturday, August 22, 6:25 p.m. — Alarm Activation (Panic): A personal panic alarm on the 5500 block of Main Street was confirmed accidental by staff on scene.
Saturday, August 22, 6:33 p.m. — Suspicious Activity: A caller reported a male soliciting spare change on the 5700 block of Thoreau Street; officers located the individual, who had been discharged from Emerson Hospital and was awaiting a train to Boston.
Sunday, August 23, 5:51 a.m. — Suspicious Activity/Trespass: A male transient found sleeping on the second floor near the elevator at the 8200 block of Walden Street was verbally trespassed from the property.
Sunday, August 23, 12:53 p.m. — Roadway Obstruction: A large tree fell across Old Marlboro Road at Old Bridge Road; the road was closed at Cottage Street while the Department of Public Works responded and removed the tree.
Sunday, August 23, 6:02 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A minor crash was reported on the 9700 block of Finigan Way; report filed.
Sunday, August 23, 6:02 p.m. — Breaking and Entering: A resident on the 3400 block of Monument Street reported returning from a weekend away to find a window apparently forced open and items missing from the bathroom; Criminal Investigations Division responded and investigated.
Sunday, August 23, 6:38 p.m. — Welfare Check: An elderly woman was reported hitchhiking on Main Street near Route 2 and appearing confused; a second call indicated a resident matching her description had left a local assisted living facility; officers located the woman and transported her back.
Sunday, August 23, 7:47 p.m. — Welfare Check: A 911 caller reported not having spoken with his daughter since the previous Tuesday; officers located her and she was confirmed safe.
Sunday, August 23, 10:40 p.m. — Medical Assist: Officers responded to Emerson Hospital on Old Road to Nine Acre Corner to assist staff with an agitated patient; the patient was calm upon officers' arrival.
Sunday, August 23, 10:40 p.m. — Warrant: Officers traveled to a MetroWest medical facility to take custody of an individual held there on a Concord warrant; the individual was held inpatient pending transfer.
Sunday, August 23, 10:59 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash (Police Vehicle): A crash involving a police vehicle was reported on the 6400 block of Old Road to Nine Acre Corner; report to follow.
Monday, August 24, 6:44 a.m. — Welfare Check: A passerby reported a possibly distressed transient individual on the baseball diamond at Emerson Field near Stow Street; officers located the person.
Monday, August 24, 7:52 a.m. — Vandalism: Slurs were found drawn into the dirt at the baseball field on the 6600 block of Stow Street, connected to the earlier welfare check at that location; the Recreation Department raked out the writing; officers were unable to locate the individual responsible.
Monday, August 24, 9:30 a.m. — Request for Service: A walk-in at the police station requested to speak with an officer regarding an incident involving his mother the previous evening; report filed by Officer Olansky.
