Finance Committee approves prior minutes, receives departmental overviews

Concord Finance Committee meets for departmental budget overviews, approves prior meeting minutes unanimously. Chair Don Kupka presided over 14 committee members who voted 14-0 to approve combined June 4 and June 17 meeting minutes. Finance Director Jennifer Barrett addressed questions about approximately 4 million dollars in unspent capital funds, explaining that surplus from completed projects will be reallocated at Town Meeting.
Committee member Donald Parker raised concerns that departmental presentations lack sufficient financial information needed for the committee's budget work.
