Finance Committee approves $635,000 in year-end budget transfers

Concord Finance Committee approves $635,000 in year-end budget transfers unanimously. The committee backed three transfers: $400,000 to Winter Maintenance to cover a $683,000 deficit from 24 major snow events, $200,000 to Legal Services from IT reserves, and $35,000 to Retirement Assessment from Property Liability Insurance. CFO Jennifer Barrett projected the moves will return approximately $1 million to free cash.
The committee declined to authorize the CFO for additional transfers through July 15.
