DEI Commission advances surveys, seeks new members, eyes fall Heritage Trail launch

CONCORD — DEI Commission launches comprehensive 20-minute survey April 3, with new sections for business owners and ageism reporting. Commission co-chair Andrea Foncerrada is spearheading the anonymous survey, which includes multi-language support and accessibility accommodations and will remain open until late May. The board is recruiting to fill at least two vacancies from approximately five applications already submitted.
Separately, the Bias and Hate Incident Reporting Working Group is nearing completion by mid-May, with Town Chief Information Officer Jeff Weiner assessing technical integration, while the Black Heritage Trail project targets permits by June for summer installation and fall formal launch.
