Concord Utility Urges Power Conservation Thursday and Friday
Concord's municipal utility is asking residents to trim electricity use during two possible peak demand periods this week, as forecasters warn of elevated summer power strain Thursday and Friday.
TOWN HALL The current weather forecast confirms a peak electricity day is possible Thursday, Aug. 6, and Friday, Aug. 7, from 5 to 8 p.m., the town said. Residents can help by taking simple steps to cut electricity use during those windows, officials said.
