Select Board authorizes response to open meeting law complaint.

Select Board · Meeting of March 12, 2026

CONCORD — The Concord Select Board unanimously authorized Chair Mark Howell to finalize and send a response to an alleged open meeting law complaint related to a proposed Proclamation Affirming the Town of Concord's Commitment to Opposing Antisemitism. Howell drafted the response with input from Town Manager Kerry Lafleur, Town Clerk Kaari Tari, and Town Counsel. Board members Paul Boehm, Wendy Rovelli, Mary Hartman, and Cameron McKennitt offered edits during the meeting, with the board agreeing to amend the January 27 minutes to correct the record of the procurement process.

The board agreed to notice a future regular Select Board meeting to discuss the proclamation's intent and clarify what it intended to achieve by approving it.
