CONCORD — School committees approve $90M in combined FY27 budgets and capital plans. The Concord Public Schools budget of $48,941,915 represents a 2.75 percent increase driven by cost-of-living adjustments and two new special education administrator positions; the Concord-Carlisle Regional School District budget of $41,043,946 rises 1.63 percent while reducing staffing from 225.0 to 220.86 full-time equivalents. Combined capital plans totaling $2.5 million prioritize facility maintenance, vehicle replacement, and a multiyear football field turf replacement at the regional high school.
The committees approved both operating budgets and capital plans unanimously.
