CONCORD — Joint committees seat five CSC members, postpone chair election to June. The committees unanimously approved the CCRSD FY26 Budget Transfers, reallocating funds to accommodate higher benefit costs, a 375,000 dollar OPEB contribution, and increased heating expenses, while keeping the total budget unchanged. Three policies passed on second reading unanimously: ECAB, KI, and EFBA.
On first reading, revised policies JICK, AC, and AC-R explicitly name antisemitism within non-discrimination and harassment provisions to comply with Department of Justice requirements; final approval is slated for fall with district counsel.
