Planning Board · Meeting of July 28, 2026

Concord's Planning Board approved off-site parking for a Domino Drive lot and pushed a Fenn School hearing to August. Board members voted unanimously to let Batstone LLC use existing parking at 100 Domino Drive after a May lot-line swap gave the adjacent 13Y Domino Drive its own buildable frontage, requiring the parking fix. Board member Sue Falchion flagged corrections needed to the easement plan and struck outdated construction-related conditions.

The board separately continued the Fenn School's hearing on a proposed 16,000-square-foot athletic center at 516 Monument Street to August 18, pending an outside consultant's final comment letter. Staff told the board new state zoning act amendments make variances easier to grant — Concord has issued "probably only maybe 12" in roughly 40 years — and could revive building rights on some small, historically merged lots, requiring any new home on such lots to have "1,150 square feet" and three bedrooms.
