CONCORD — Planning Board recommended approval of a 150-foot wireless tower at Walden Street. The Planning Board voted unanimously to recommend the Zoning Board approve the special permit and site plan review for Wireless Edge Towers III, LLC at 755 Walden Street. The tower will improve emergency services and address cellular coverage gaps along Route 2, Route 126, and Walden Street; Verizon and AT&T are already committed to use it.

The Board discussed backup generators and weekly testing between noon and 3 p.m., plus construction access restrictions to avoid composting facility conflicts. In separate business, the Board endorsed an Approval Not Required plan for the Fenn School at 516 Monument Street, combining four lots for a gymnasium.
