The following is a compilation of incidents and arrests recorded in the Concord Police Department's official public log for the period April 1–7, 2026. All persons listed are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Domestic violence incidents, sexual assaults, and juvenile matters are excluded per Massachusetts law (G.L. c. 41, section 98F).
Wednesday, April 1, 2:21 a.m. — Arrest: A motor vehicle stop near the intersection of Concord Turnpike and Old Road to Nine Acre Corner resulted in an Operating Under the Influence of Liquor arrest. The operator elected to remain in custody until court at 8:30 a.m. (Full name, age, and town not provided in the log; see REVIEW note.)
Wednesday, April 1, 4:41 a.m. — Suspicious Activity: A resident on the 1600 block of Elsinore Street reported hearing a male yelling outside; officers checked the area and found nothing of concern.
Wednesday, April 1, 5:17 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Stop / Summons: A motor vehicle stop near the 2700 block of Lexington Road resulted in a summons to the operator for unlicensed operation.
Wednesday, April 1, 5:40 p.m. — Roadway Obstruction: A displaced manhole cover was reported on Sudbury Road near Nashawtuc Country Club; officers responded and public works was notified for repair.
Wednesday, April 1, 7:55 p.m. — Larceny: A resident of Spencer Brook Road reported AirPods stolen from Middlesex School and tracked to Broadway Street in Methuen; Bedford Police were advised and a report was taken.
Wednesday, April 1, 8:09 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Stop / Citation: A citation was issued at Pope Road and Strawberry Hill Road for failure to stop at a stop sign.
Thursday, April 2, 7:50 a.m. — Traffic Signal: A motorist reported a malfunctioning traffic light at Sudbury Road and Thoreau Street; officers responded and the utility was notified of a flickering green bulb.
Thursday, April 2, 11:36 a.m. — Firearms Surrender: A resident on the 1400 block of Deacon Haynes Road surrendered a BB gun and a .22-caliber firearm to police for destruction.
Thursday, April 2, 1:04 p.m. — Suspicious Activity / Found Property: A caller at the 11200 block of Hawthorne Lane reported unlit fireworks in a parking lot; officers determined the items were wet and likely unusable, and disposed of them at the fire department.
Thursday, April 2, 1:15 p.m. — Fraud: A walk-in at the 6000 block of Walden Street reported a phishing scam; a report was taken.
Thursday, April 2, 1:25 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A minor two-vehicle crash with no personal injury was reported at Main Street and Cottage Lane; officers responded and debris was cleared from the roadway.
Thursday, April 2, 3:50 p.m. — Hit-and-Run / Motor Vehicle Crash: A vehicle parked at the 6200 block of Lowell Road was found to have been sideswiped; paper exchange only, no personal injury.
Thursday, April 2, 8:25 p.m. — Roadway Obstruction: A disabled MBTA train at Concord Depot blocked the Belknap Street and Sudbury Road rail crossings; officers rerouted traffic until crossings were cleared.
Thursday, April 2, 11:49 p.m. — Suspicious Activity / Scam Advisory: A resident on the 3200 block of Middle Street reported a suspicious EZ-Pass fine text message; the resident did not respond to the message and forwarded information to detectives, citing concern for elderly residents who might be targeted.
Friday, April 3, 4:08 a.m. — NEMLEC SWAT Activation: A SWAT callout was issued to the City of Lowell.
Friday, April 3, 7:06 a.m. — Traffic Complaint: A caller reported an erratically operated vehicle on the 400 block of Bedford Street; officers checked the area but were unable to locate the vehicle.
Friday, April 3, 9:11 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A minor three-vehicle collision with no personal injury was reported on the 8100 block of Elm Street; operators of a Honda and Toyota received written warnings for following too closely.
Friday, April 3, 11:31 a.m. — Well-Being Check: A caller reported a male walking on train tracks behind Old Stow Road outbound toward Acton; officers and MBTA checked the area and could not locate the individual.
Friday, April 3, 1:15 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Stop / Summons: A motor vehicle stop near the 100 block of Old Bedford Road resulted in a summons for operation after suspension and a lights violation.
Friday, April 3, 1:46 p.m. — Ammunition Surrender: A walk-in at the 6000 block of Walden Street surrendered ammunition for destruction.
Friday, April 3, 1:31 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash / Property Damage: A landscaping company mower struck a utility pole on the 3600 block of Nashawtuc Road; officers found no pole damage but two wires appeared severed, and the utility was notified to inspect the site.
Friday, April 3, 4:12 p.m. — Dog Bite Report: A resident on the 2200 block of Hillcrest Road reported their dog was bitten by another dog on April 1 on Hayward Mill Road; Animal Control was notified.
Friday, April 3, 4:34 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A crash with airbag deployment on the 800 block of Central Street resulted in a citation to the Volvo operator for failure to use care.
Friday, April 3, 5:24 p.m. — Hit-and-Run / Motor Vehicle Crash: A caller on the 5900 block of Elm Street reported being rear-ended in the rotary by a silver Subaru station wagon that fled; Massachusetts State Police responded and handled the call.
Friday, April 3, 6:03 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A two-car crash in a parking lot on the 7000 block of Elm Street, in which a reversing vehicle struck an open car door; a report was taken.
Saturday, April 4, 1:00 a.m. — Disturbance: Officers responded to Emerson Hospital for a report of a disturbance involving a patient upset about room assignment; the individual agreed to settle for the evening.
Saturday, April 4, 1:26 p.m. — Disturbance / Property Damage: Emerson Hospital staff reported an unknown male broke a door and was held by hospital security at the main emergency department entrance; the subject was verbally trespassed from the hospital before officers arrived.
Saturday, April 4, 2:11 p.m. — Fraud: A resident on the 2300 block of Hubbard Street reported paying for artwork approximately a year ago and never receiving it; a report was taken.
Saturday, April 4, 2:42 p.m. — Fraud: An employee at a Main Street business reported a suspected scam by someone claiming to be a National Grid representative; no personal information was given, and officers followed up with National Grid.
Saturday, April 4, 1:21 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A two-vehicle crash in the Verrill Farm parking lot on Wheeler Road was investigated; no personal injury, both vehicles were drivable.
Saturday, April 4, 1:19 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A two-vehicle crash in a parking lot on the 7600 block of Wheeler Road with no personal injury; paper exchange only.
Sunday, April 5, 9:20 a.m. — Traffic Complaint: A resident on the 1900 block of Garfield Road reported a newspaper delivery driver operating at 40–45 mph; officers checked the area and could not locate the vehicle.
Sunday, April 5, 3:04 p.m. — Traffic Complaint / Erratic Operator: A 911 caller reported a white Honda CR-V driving off the roadway three times on Peter Bulkeley Road at Paul Revere Road. (Log entry incomplete; see REVIEW note.)
