The following is a compilation of incidents and arrests recorded in the Concord Police Department's official public log for the period May 6–11, 2026. All persons listed are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Domestic violence incidents, sexual assaults, and juvenile matters are excluded per Massachusetts law (G.L. c. 41, section 98F).
Wednesday, May 6, 9:07 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash (bicycle involved): A cyclist was struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Conant Street and Damon Street; no injuries were reported.
Wednesday, May 6, 1:07 p.m. — Vandalism: A vehicle's window was found broken at the 800 block of Central Street; a report was filed.
Wednesday, May 6, 2:11 p.m. — Power Outage: A large branch came down near Isaac Davis Road, taking out a primary power line and causing an outage in the Temple Road area; Concord Municipal Light Plant responded and restored service.
Wednesday, May 6, 7:51 p.m. — Assault: A patient at Emerson Hospital on the 6400 block of Old Road to Nine Acre Corner assaulted two staff members, both of whom received medical attention; an arrest was made. Thursday, May 7, 3:12 p.m. — Serious Motor Vehicle Crash (pedestrian): Multiple 911 calls reported a single-car crash involving a pedestrian on Route 2 near the mile 125 overpass; a pedestrian was found in a travel lane and transported by ambulance to Lahey Burlington. Massachusetts State Police assumed the scene.
Thursday, May 7, 7:39 p.m. — Disturbance: A noise complaint was received at the 3000 block of Main Street reporting individuals hanging out of second-floor windows and yelling; staff at the location were advised.
Friday, May 8, 8:23 a.m. — Demonstration: Approximately 20 demonstrators were reported near the intersection of Concord Turnpike and Old Road to Nine Acre Corner; demonstrators were off the roadway and the area was clear on officer arrival.
Friday, May 8, 11:41 a.m. — Infrastructure Hazard: A rotting utility pole swaying at the base was reported on the 5700 block of Thoreau Street; MBTA Commuter Rail maintenance was notified and dispatched for repair.
Friday, May 8, 3:32 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash (hit-and-run, property damage): A resident on the 9500 block of Mitchell Road reported a concrete truck pulled down cable lines and left the scene; the truck was gone on officer arrival.
Friday, May 8, 5:19 p.m. — Fraud: A resident at the 3700 block of Oak Hill Circle reported fraudulent activity carried out in the name of a deceased family member; a report was filed.
Friday, May 8, 6:45 p.m. — Power Outage: A power outage affecting utility poles on Sudbury Road and Riverdale Road was reported; Concord Municipal Light Plant responded and power was restored.
Saturday, May 9, 11:50 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash (property damage): A FedEx truck struck and knocked over a retaining wall on the 1300 block of Court Lane, leaving a large granite block partially in the roadway; Concord Public Works responded to clear the hazard, and an officer followed up with the driver.
Saturday, May 9, 6:17 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Stop / Summons: A motor vehicle stop on the 10600 block of Old Marlboro Road resulted in a summons being issued; the operator was found to have no valid Massachusetts license. Sunday, May 10, 10:54 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Stop / Summons: A motor vehicle stop on Bedford Street near Davis Court resulted in a summons for speed and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Sunday, May 10, 12:44 p.m. — Assault: A witness called 911 to report an altercation at Monument Square in which a vehicle driver reportedly grabbed a bicyclist's shirt during a dispute; both parties had left the area before officers arrived and could not be located.
Sunday, May 10, 3:38 p.m. — Roadway Obstruction: A significant trench washout was reported near Barretts Mill Farm on the 6200 block of Barretts Mill Road; officers placed cones and Concord Water and Sewer responded to backfill the trench.
Sunday, May 10, 8:46 p.m. — Disturbance: A resident on the 8000 block of Old Bedford Road reported four to five loud bangs they believed might be gunshots; officers investigated and determined the sounds came from a coach storing athletic equipment at the Ripley School.
