The following is a compilation of incidents and arrests recorded in the Concord Police Department's official public log for the period January 28–February 3, 2026. All persons listed are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Domestic violence incidents, sexual assaults, and juvenile matters are excluded per Massachusetts law (G.L. c. 41, section 98F).
Wednesday, January 28, 6:18 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A vehicle was sideswiped at Old Bedford Road and Lexington Road; the striking vehicle fled toward Route 2 and Route 126 south. Officers were unable to locate it.
Wednesday, January 28, 7:01 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A two-car crash on Monument Street resulted in no injuries; a citation was issued to the operator of a Scion.
Wednesday, January 28, 7:51 a.m. — Snow Removal: Snow buildup reported on the Main Street bridge.
Wednesday, January 28, 9:34 a.m. — Vandalism: A walk-in complainant reported ongoing theft of signs from a yard on the 1400 block of Deer Grass Lane; the party left before an officer arrived.
Wednesday, January 28, 10:45 a.m. — Safety: No-parking signs posted town-wide for snow removal operations.
Wednesday, January 28, 12:31 p.m. — Parking Complaint: A vehicle was blocking two-way traffic on Laurel Street; a detour sign was replaced and the road was cleared.
Wednesday, January 28, 1:13 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A two-car crash at Academy Lane and Main Street; no personal injury reported.
Wednesday, January 28, 1:36 p.m. — Safety: A resident reported unshoveled sidewalks near the middle school on Old Marlboro Road.
Wednesday, January 28, 1:29 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A crash with no personal injury at Keyes Road and Main Street; an officer attempted to contact the owner of a parked vehicle involved.
Wednesday, January 28, 6:35 p.m. — Parking Complaint: A vehicle was parked in reserved tenant spaces near the Emerson Umbrella on Stow Street; one parking citation issued.
Wednesday, January 28, 6:48 p.m. — Train Strike / Road Closure: A Keolis train struck a vehicle at the Conant Street railroad crossing; no injuries reported. Conant Street was closed at Domino Drive and Concord Commons while Transit Police and Keolis conducted safety checks on the tracks. The vehicle was removed from the tracks; road closures remained in place under MBTA Police authority.
Wednesday, January 28, 7:30 p.m. — Mutual Aid / Hit and Run: Lincoln Police reported a hit-and-run involving a white Mercedes last seen heading north on Route 126. Massachusetts State Police stopped the vehicle on Route 2 West at Main Street. Lincoln Police transported the operator.
Wednesday, January 28, 7:39 p.m. — Roadway Obstruction: A large pile of snow was pushed into the eastbound lane of Virginia Road near Elm Brook Lane; a cleanup was requested.
Wednesday, January 28, 10:37 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash / Property Damage: A snow removal vehicle struck a building on the 6400 block of Main Street; interior inspection found no structural damage.
Thursday, January 29, 12:29 a.m. — Mutual Aid: Acton Police reported a possible theft of a forklift from a complex off Powder Mill Road, loaded onto a truck with a flatbed trailer. Officers checked Route 2 and surrounding areas; vehicle not located.
Thursday, January 29, 3:20 a.m. — Disabled Motor Vehicle: A disabled vehicle on Route 2 East near Sudbury Road was jump-started twice; it was ultimately towed from Walden Street.
Thursday, January 29, 8:54 a.m. — Traffic Complaint: A resident on Westford Road reported speeding vehicles; no violations observed on patrol.
Thursday, January 29, 1:36 p.m. — Soliciting: A door-to-door solicitor on Bayberry Road was advised of the town bylaw and agreed to cease.
Thursday, January 29, 5:22 p.m. — Disabled Motor Vehicle: A disabled vehicle at Lowell Road and Liberty Street was moved to the roadside.
Thursday, January 29, 5:55 p.m. — Disabled Motor Vehicle: A disabled vehicle on Commonwealth Avenue near the rotary was handled by State Police with a tow.
Thursday, January 29, 6:05 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A two-car crash on Monument Street near the 5800 block resulted in no injuries; paper exchange only.
Thursday, January 29, 7:06 p.m. — Traffic Complaint: A caller reported an erratic operator on Lexington Road inbound from Cambridge Turnpike; vehicle not located.
Friday, January 30, 4:46 a.m. — Burglar Alarm: An unsecured door was found at a Lowell Road business; interior and exterior checks were clear and the door was secured.
Friday, January 30, 4:46 a.m. — Burglar Alarm: An alarm activation at Willard Common; officers found possible tracks in the snow but no evidence of a break-in.
Friday, January 30, 9:29 a.m. — Welfare Check / Train Tracks: Transit reported a male walking on the train tracks near Walden Pond; officers and Transit Police checked the area and found no one.
Friday, January 30, 11:43 a.m. — Welfare Check: A caller reported a pedestrian fell and remained seated on the ground at Conant Street and Main Street; no one was found when officers arrived.
Friday, January 30, 1:55 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash (False Alarm): An iPhone auto-collision alert triggered a response to Old Marlboro Road at Williams Road; no crash was found. Officers located a phone that had fallen from a vehicle; it was returned to its owner on Williams Road.
Friday, January 30, 5:09 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Stop / Suspended License: A summons was issued to the operator at Lexington Road and Old Bedford Road for driving with a suspended license; warnings were issued for no registration and a hands-free violation.
Friday, January 30, 6:19 p.m. — Suspicious Activity: A resident on the 800 block of Chestnut Street reported returning home to find a back door slightly open and a light on; officers found no footprints in the snow and no signs of intrusion.
Friday, January 30, 10:57 p.m. — Burglar Alarm: An ajar service entrance door was found at a Forest Ridge Road building; voicemails were left for keyholders with no response.
Saturday, January 31, 11:04 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A minor two-car crash in the parking lot on the 5800 block of Thoreau Street; one vehicle left the scene but did leave contact information. Damage was under $1,000.
Saturday, January 31, 2:29 p.m. — Vandalism (Ongoing): A walk-in complainant reported ongoing vandalism to vehicles on the 2300 block of Holdenwood Road.
Saturday, January 31, 3:46 p.m. — Disabled Motor Vehicle / Overheating: A vehicle overheating on Route 2 East at Main Street was confirmed between east- and westbound lanes; State Police and fire responded and remained on scene pending a tow.
Sunday, February 1, 2:28 a.m. — Arrest / Operating Under the Influence: An officer checked a vehicle at a Concord Turnpike gas station and conducted a field sobriety evaluation. The log does not include the subject's name, age, or town of residence. (See Review section.)
Sunday, February 1, 6:58 a.m. — Property Damage: A resident on Walden Street reported that someone appeared to have poured candle wax on his vehicle overnight.
Sunday, February 1, 12:37 p.m. — Vandalism (Ongoing): A walk-in complainant reported ongoing vandalism to vehicles on the 2300 block of Holdenwood Road. (Note: this may be a second report related to the Saturday entry above — see Review.)
Sunday, February 1, 6:27 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Stop / Civil Citation: An operator at Route 2 and Main Street was issued a civil citation for a red-light violation and invalid inspection; the vehicle was towed.
Monday, February 2, 8:35 a.m. — Road Hazard: Officers assisted DPW in directing traffic while a stuck machine was moved on Laws Brook Road near Sunnyside Lane.
Monday, February 2, 12:09 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A vehicle slid off Sudbury Road near Heaths Bridge Road while avoiding another vehicle; the car was pushed back onto the roadway by officers.
Monday, February 2, 1:38 p.m. — Civil Complaint: A caller reported an individual using a tractor on Harvard-owned trails on Estabrook Road; the subject was advised of the complaint.
