The following is a compilation of incidents and arrests recorded in the Concord Police Department's official public log for the period April 15–19, 2026. All persons listed are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Domestic violence incidents, sexual assaults, and juvenile matters are excluded per Massachusetts law (G.L. c. 41, section 98F).
Wednesday, April 15, 1:35 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Citation: A citation for speed was issued following a motor vehicle stop at Concord Turnpike and Fairhaven Road.
Wednesday, April 15, 8:49 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash (School Bus): A motor vehicle collision involving a school bus was reported at the Elm Street rotary at Concord Turnpike. The bus was occupied; no injuries were reported. Both vehicles were drivable. The school superintendent notified families; the bus continued to Thoreau School.
Wednesday, April 15, 9:50 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Pursuit / Failure to Stop: An officer attempted to stop a green Kawasaki sport motorcycle with no plate on Lowell Road near Monument Square. The operator executed a U-turn at Keyes Road and fled toward Monument Square; the pursuit was discontinued. The operator was described as a male in a purple shirt with a black backpack. A be-on-the-lookout notice was entered into OpenFox. Carlisle police subsequently located a green Kawasaki motorcycle abandoned at the Carlisle DPW, but a follow-up confirmed it was not the same vehicle.
Wednesday, April 15, 5:17 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Citation: A citation for speed was issued following a motor vehicle stop at Concord Turnpike and Fairhaven Road.
Wednesday, April 15, 7:03 p.m. — Traffic Complaint / Animal: A resident on the 2000 block of Hawthorne Lane reported a vehicle traveling at high speed that struck and killed their pet rabbit.
Wednesday, April 15, 7:18 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash (Hit and Run): A Malden resident reported that their parked vehicle was struck in a hit-and-run on the 7100 block of Commonwealth Avenue on the afternoon of Tuesday, April 14; video from the owner's Tesla showed a blue vehicle. An officer assisted with a paper exchange after identifying the other party.
Thursday, April 16, 9:32 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Citation: A citation for a failed inspection sticker was issued following a motor vehicle stop at Lowell Road and Barnes Hill Road.
Thursday, April 16, 10:36 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Citation: A citation for a failed inspection sticker was issued following a motor vehicle stop at Concord Turnpike near Old Road to Nine Acre Corner.
Thursday, April 16, 11:16 a.m. — Parking Citation: A citation was issued at the Walden Street trail parking area after two vehicles were reported in handicapped spaces without authorization.
Thursday, April 16, 12:38 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A minor motor vehicle collision was reported at Main Street and Center Village Drive.
Thursday, April 16, 4:49 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash (School Bus): A CPS school bus struck a horse-crossing sign on the 5400 block of Williams Road and left the area. An officer found no damage to the pole; the sign had been knocked off and was documented photographically. The matter was referred for traffic enforcement follow-up.
Thursday, April 16, 5:47 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash (Emerson Hospital): A vehicle owner returning to Lot D at Emerson Hospital on Old Road to Nine Acre Corner found her vehicle had been struck. Security was requested to review camera footage.
Thursday, April 16, 6:21 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Stop / Summons: A motor vehicle stop on Concord Turnpike near Old Road to Nine Acre Corner revealed the vehicle's registration was revoked due to insurance cancellation. A summons was issued to the registered operator for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and operating after suspended registration.
Thursday, April 16, 6:15 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Citation: A civil citation for speed was issued following a motor vehicle stop on the 5500 block of Cambridge Turnpike.
Friday, April 17, 9:11 a.m. — Larceny: A stolen sidewalk plow was reported on Nathan Pratt Drive.
Friday, April 17, 11:33 a.m. — Infrastructure Incident: A Department of Public Works trash truck became entangled in wires on the 3300 block of Minot Road. Concord Municipal Light Plant responded; wires were reattached.
Friday, April 17, 11:34 a.m. — Property Recovery: A walk-in complainant sought recovery of personal property from Atrius Health. Officers followed up; the property was recovered and returned to the owner.
Friday, April 17, 1:00 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A motor vehicle collision with no personal injury was reported at Upland Road and Old Marlboro Road. A written warning for failure to use care was issued.
Friday, April 17, 3:19 p.m. — Fraud / Scam: A resident reported being scammed out of approximately $200 and requested a police report for their bank.
Saturday, April 18, 12:15 p.m. — Warrant / Summons Service: A party who came to the station to pick up paperwork was found to have an active warrant and was arrested.
Saturday, April 18, 1:47 p.m. — NEMLEC SWAT Activation: Concord officers responded to a NEMLEC SWAT callout in Lowell.
Saturday, April 18, 3:31 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash / Bicycle: A motor vehicle versus bicycle collision was reported near the Old North Bridge on the 8000 block of Monument Street. The bicyclist was transported by ambulance to Emerson Hospital.
Saturday, April 18, 4:04 p.m. — Parking / Event Congestion: A resident on Red Coat Lane reported event attendees for a Fenn School event parked on both sides of the road, potentially blocking emergency vehicle access. Officers confirmed the roadway remained passable; event organizers were advised to manage parking to keep roads clear.
Sunday, April 19, 12:06 a.m. — Roadway Obstruction: A skunk was removed from the roadway on the 3800 block of Old Marlboro Road.
Sunday, April 19, 11:19 a.m. — Vandalism: A resident on the 4900 block of Tarbell Spring Road reported that someone had released their chickens and egged their house the previous night.
Sunday, April 19, 10:44 a.m. — Fraud: A resident on the 6600 block of Westvale Meadow reported a fraud and requested an officer.
Sunday, April 19, 2:38 p.m. — Disturbance / Property Damage: A patron at the Concord Museum on Cambridge Turnpike became disgruntled that admission was not free and kicked a door, causing damage, before leaving the scene.
Sunday, April 19, 4:00 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash (Hit and Run): A witness reported a vehicle struck a parked gold vehicle at Monument Square near Lowell Road and may have pulled into the Concord Market parking lot; the operator's status was unknown. An officer left a notice on the struck vehicle.
Sunday, April 19, 4:35 p.m. — Suspicious Mail: A resident on the 8400 block of Captain Miles Lane reported receiving a letter he believed targeted his wife based on her Polish nationality.
