The following is a compilation of incidents and arrests recorded in the Concord Police Department's official public log for the period April 22–27, 2026. All persons listed are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Domestic violence incidents, sexual assaults, and juvenile matters are excluded per Massachusetts law (G.L. c. 41, section 98F).
Wednesday, April 22, 5:48 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash / Hit and Run: A two-car crash occurred on Route 2 East near the Concord Rotary; the second vehicle fled eastbound without stopping. The reporting party, parked at the Atrius Health lot, was unable to provide a description of the other vehicle. State Police declined to respond; the operator was advised to contact her insurance company.
Wednesday, April 22, 11:17 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Stop / Summons: A motor vehicle was stopped on Route 2 westbound at Elm Street for revoked/no registration and no insurance. A summons was issued.
Wednesday, April 22, 1:39 p.m. — Larceny / Fraud: A walk-in reported a hacked bank account; the bank intercepted the fraudulent transaction before funds were lost. A report was filed.
Wednesday, April 22, 4:31 p.m. — Welfare Check: A welfare check was conducted on a male party walking along Route 2 East near mile marker 122.6. State Police responded and transported the individual.
Thursday, April 23, 10:50 a.m. — Property Dispute / Advice Given: A walk-in sought guidance regarding a no-trespass letter she received related to Estabrook Road. The officer advised her to contact Concord District Court.
Thursday, April 23, 5:07 p.m. — Traffic Complaint: A motorist reported a vehicle weaving and making intermittent speed changes on Lowell Road inbound toward Monument Square; no plate or vehicle description was available and no Concord units were in the area.
Thursday, April 23, 5:56 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A two-car crash occurred on Concord Turnpike at Walden Street with no injuries and no airbag deployment; officers assisted with a paper exchange only.
Thursday, April 23, 9:55 p.m. — Noise Complaint / Unresolved: A College Road resident reported hearing loud explosion-like noises in the distance for two consecutive nights. Officers checked the area and surrounding roads but could not locate the source.
Friday, April 24, 9:36 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash / Hit and Run: A vehicle backed into a gray Tesla Model Y in the rear parking lot of Walden Street and left the scene approximately five minutes before police were called. A summons was issued; a report was filed by Officer Brady.
Friday, April 24, 12:55 p.m. — Found Property: A found ID and credit card were turned in at the police station; items were returned to their owner.
Friday, April 24, 7:40 p.m. — Welfare Check: A passerby requested a welfare check on an elderly female who appeared confused and disheveled, repeatedly changing direction of travel, on Barretts Mill Road between College Road and the rotary. Officers searched the length of Barretts Mill Road but were unable to locate the individual.
Saturday, April 25, 2:42 p.m. — Welfare Check: A caller reported an elderly female appearing hunched over and disheveled, wearing all black with long grey hair, walking on Barretts Mill Road. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the individual.
Saturday, April 25, 9:42 p.m. — Welfare Check: Officers checked on a party found in the roadway on Elm Street near Nimrod Drive; the individual was moved to the sidewalk with no further issues.
Sunday, April 26, 1:08 a.m. — Arrest: A motor vehicle stop on Route 2 westbound near the rotary resulted in an arrest; the vehicle was a 2012 Chrysler Town and Country. (See REVIEW — arrest log entry incomplete; no name, age, town, or charges recorded in the source text.)
Sunday, April 26, 12:27 p.m. — Railroad Gate Malfunction: Railroad crossing gates at Sudbury Road and Thoreau Street became stuck in the down position; Sudbury Road was closed at Grant Street while Keolis responded. Gates were restored to proper function upon the maintainer's arrival.
Sunday, April 26, 1:51 p.m. — Vandalism: A walk-in reported a damaged door and deadbolt at a Lexington Road address. A report was filed by Officer O'Connor.
Sunday, April 26, 2:54 p.m. — Cyclist Incident: A cyclist struck a vehicle on Lowell Road near Barretts Mill Road and fled the scene before officers arrived. The operator filed a report.
Sunday, April 26, 7:13 p.m. — Welfare Check: A passerby reported an elderly female walking repeatedly around the rotary circle with her head down, wearing a black rain coat. Officers located and checked on the individual near Barretts Mill Road and College Road; no issues found.
Monday, April 27, 7:45 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: Multiple 911 calls reported a crash involving a truck and a motorcycle at Lowell Road and Liberty Street; the motorcyclist was up and walking. Lowell Road was temporarily closed at Keyes Road and later fully reopened. The motorcyclist declined medical transport. A written warning for failure to use care was issued; a report was filed by Officer Awada.
