Concord Public Safety Log: February 4–10, 2026

The following is a compilation of incidents and arrests recorded in the Concord Police Department's official public log for the period February 4–10, 2026. All persons listed are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Domestic violence incidents, sexual assaults, and juvenile matters are excluded per Massachusetts law (G.L. c. 41, section 98F).
Wednesday, February 4, 1:31 a.m. — Noise Complaint: An anonymous caller reported snowplow equipment had been operating loudly in the area of Pine and Central Streets for approximately three hours; an officer on detail was advised.
Wednesday, February 4, 7:18 a.m. — Suspicious Activity: A caller reported being followed by a burgundy pickup truck on Route 2 before pulling into the National Aviation Academy on Baker Avenue Extension; the caller did not wish to speak with an officer and requested the incident be logged only.
Wednesday, February 4, 9:11 a.m. — Suspicious Activity / Possible Fraud: A resident of the 10000 block of Lowell Road reported receiving what appeared to be a scam or phishing email from an unknown party; an officer was assigned to follow up.
Wednesday, February 4, 12:05 p.m. — Parking Violation: A vehicle was parked in a crosswalk on the 7000 block of Stow Street; a parking citation was issued.
Wednesday, February 4, 4:42 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A vehicle went into a snow bank at Walden Street and Route 2; a tow was needed and the vehicle was pulled free.
Wednesday, February 4, 5:17 p.m. — Disabled Motor Vehicle: A vehicle broke down and was blocking a lane of travel on the 3000 block of Monument Street; the vehicle was removed from the roadway.
Wednesday, February 4, 9:09 p.m. — Motor Vehicle vs. Deer: Two separate vehicles struck a deer at Lowell Road near Hildreth Lane; one vehicle sustained a coolant leak. The deer was removed from the roadway.
Thursday, February 5, 7:34 a.m. — Roadway Obstruction: Multiple callers reported railroad crossing gates stuck in the down position on Belknap Street for approximately ten minutes; the gates were restored to operation.
Thursday, February 5, 11:37 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Damage / Hit and Run: Staff at a business on the 5000 block of Elm Street reported a vehicle drove through a car wash causing damage and left the scene; an officer responded and a report was filed.
Thursday, February 5, 12:49 p.m. — Larceny / Fraud: A resident of the 7000 block of Bradford Street reported their email account was compromised and a fraudulent transaction was made; an officer responded and a report was filed.
Thursday, February 5, 1:22 p.m. — Roadway Obstruction: A tree fell across the roadway on the 6000 block of Virginia Road; a detail officer and the town tree department responded and cleared the scene.
Thursday, February 5, 2:11 p.m. — Parking Violation: Multiple vehicles were found parked in a no-parking area near Commonwealth Avenue and Beharrell Street, blocking a crosswalk; two parking citations were issued.
Thursday, February 5, 4:48 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A two-vehicle accident occurred in the rotary area near Elm Street; Massachusetts State Police handled the scene. A second report of the same incident was received from Acton PD at 9:48 p.m.; a Concord officer responded and filed a report.
Thursday, February 5, 5:43 p.m. — Request for Police Services: A walk-in party reported a dispute with a neighbor; an officer spoke with the reporting party.
Friday, February 6, 7:51 a.m. — Safety Notice: Concord Municipal Light Plant (CMLP) was working in the area of Main Street and Walden Street throughout the day; power interruptions were expected in the area.
Friday, February 6, 1:01 p.m. — Larceny / Fraud: A report of a larceny, fraud, or forgery offense was filed for the 7000 block of Commonwealth Avenue; a detective was assigned.
Friday, February 6, 1:17 p.m. — Traffic Complaint: A caller reported a vehicle passed over a double yellow line on Main Street approaching Route 2; the vehicle was not located.
Friday, February 6, 4:29 p.m. — NEMLEC SWAT Activation: Concord officers responded to a NEMLEC (Northeast Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council) SWAT activation in the Town of Medford.
Friday, February 6, 4:47 p.m. — Parking Complaint: A caller reported numerous vehicles parked in the roadway on Finigan Way, blocking passage for a bus or emergency vehicles; an officer responded and found no immediate hazard.
Friday, February 6, 7:36 p.m. — Threats: A caller reported being threatened by a male individual at a program at the 7000 block of Monument Square due to political beliefs; an officer was assigned to handle.
Friday, February 6, 10:00 p.m. — Traffic Complaint: A caller reported an erratic driver slamming on brakes on Route 2 Westbound before the rotary, last seen near Elm Street; the vehicle was not located.
Friday, February 6, 11:37 p.m. — Mutual Aid: A Concord officer assisted Lincoln Police Department with a house party on Acorn Lane in Lincoln.
Saturday, February 7, 8:14 a.m. — Roadway Obstruction: A caller reported railroad crossing gates stuck in the down position on Commonwealth Avenue; Keolis responded and the gates were restored to operation.
Saturday, February 7, 3:01 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A motor vehicle collided with a snowplow at Hillside Avenue and Laws Brook Road; no injuries were reported and both vehicles were drivable.
Saturday, February 7, 3:05 p.m. — Parking Violation: A vehicle was parked in a no-parking area on Central Street near Pine Street; a parking citation was issued.
Saturday, February 7, 4:09 p.m. — Snow Removal Complaint: Concord Public Works reported a private plow operator had pushed snow from a driveway into Monument Street; an officer spoke with the plow driver and found no hazard.
Saturday, February 7, 6:15 p.m. — Request for Police Services: A caller reported that a friend in possession of her phone for repairs claimed to have lost it approximately one year ago with little follow-up communication; an officer spoke with the reporting party and provided advice.
Sunday, February 8, 5:41 a.m. — Disabled Motor Vehicle: A vehicle was stuck in a snow bank at Wheeler Road near Sudbury Road; the vehicle was freed with no damage reported.
Sunday, February 8, 7:47 a.m. — Disabled Motor Vehicle: A motorist reported his front tire came off on the Concord Turnpike near Baker Avenue Extension; the vehicle was moved off the roadway pending a tow.
Sunday, February 8, 8:02 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A two-vehicle crash was reported on Route 2 Westbound near exit 125 with no injuries; Massachusetts State Police handled the scene.
Sunday, February 8, 12:08 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A minor two-vehicle crash with no injuries was reported on the 3000 block of Main Street; a report was filed.
Sunday, February 8, 4:04 p.m. — Suspicious Activity: A resident of the 6000 block of Stow Street reported that a person, seen on a doorbell camera the previous day, had attempted to open packages and tried the front door multiple times; no packages were taken and there was no entry to the home. A report was filed.
Sunday, February 8, 5:40 p.m. — Water Main Break: Multiple callers reported a water main break on Ridge Road with water flowing down toward Lexington Road and the road surface heaved; icy road conditions developed at Ridge Road and Lexington Road. The water department responded, DPW treated the streets, and Ridge Road was closed at Lexington Road.
Monday, February 9, 11:20 a.m. — Disturbance: Emerson Hospital security requested assistance removing a disruptive individual from the main waiting room on Old Road to Nine Acre Corner; the individual left the premises voluntarily. A report was filed.
Monday, February 9, 12:39 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Stop / Arrest: A motor vehicle stop on the 8000 block of Old Road to Nine Acre Corner resulted in criminal summons being issued. The operator was summonsed for attaching plates and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle; no Massachusetts driver status, warrant, or license records were on file.
Monday, February 9, 1:31 p.m. — Hit-and-Run: A parked vehicle on the 6000 block of Commonwealth Avenue sustained front-end damage in a past hit-and-run; an officer responded and a report was filed.
